Baby zebra I showed as part of my presentation.
I need to write little notes for the next one. I got a little intimidated (lots of people showed) and I am great once I start painting, but before that point, I am definitely a little shaky.

more animals
Trying to take the time to actually look at animals and learn what it is about their shapes and features that make them look like what they are. Still need tons of practice, but hey, practice is what gets you to the destination you desire!
Top: zoo sketches and some watercolored pencil work
Bottom: Lion face studies from the other night. Looked at a series of photos and without trying to go for a style, just drew the features as I saw them.

Cinderella
I was unhappy when it dawned on me that the movie cinderella is a strawberry blond (especially strawberry) and yet marketing always represents her as a yellow blond wearing a blue dress (as opposed to the beautiful white dress she has in movie) ... so I did a quick painting.
Also, I needed painting practice. considering I did everything backwards on this, I'm glad I tested this out before doing it on "important" pieces.

Watercolor spot illustrations
I really love painting. I need to paint even more! So at Jemma's house I decided to do some crazy spot watercolor artings as she worked on some paintings way more badass than me. This is what I came up with:
Here's a silly painting I did last week. Someone asked me to draw basically a dalmatian as Indiana Jones going after the idol... but the idol is a SANDWICH. So I did. And it was epic.

Work
Just a couple of things I did when I was over at Storm8 for the holiday editions of Bakery Story and Restaurant Story. I also did one for Farm Story, but since it was me mostly adjusting and re-designing current assets, figured these two were worth the most the post. Since these images have been out and released all month, I can post them xD
In the Bakery Story image, they adjusted my composition and added the giant gingerbread man after I left, but otherwise, I drew everything else (With the missletoe or the tiny gingerbread men, I took existing assets and adjusted their shading and shape to work when viewed large)
This one with all that ham made me SO HUNGRY! I was glad I got to spend the holidays with my family and have some large meals :3
All vector work, of course. I no longer work at Storm8, but I still had fun with the art I did there!
